Hi to you and your family Bob,
you probably don't remember English Sue from Milwaukee, I was as many. a Great fan of Reitman & Mueller in the am !
I have been all over the map with my husband of 20 yrs.
I only recently caught up, from an old friend, on all your `antics' ! So Happy to hear you are OK, taking it easy, and relaxing with your family.
All the Very Best to you & yours, Always
Fondly, Sue P. NY

Gosh, I just got the news. I'm so glad you've retired. That morning show had become such a herd of lot-gate eating, after birth heifers! Whew! Now, perhaps, you are able to return your eternal roots--rock 'n' roll. Uriah Heep's opening for Deep Purple this spring in Europe. Hope to see you there, or somewhere near the Marshalls!!

Bob, missing you in the mornings. I've been listening to you as long as you've been on the air and remember when your daughter was born! Also, I must say the old team at KTI is not the same without you. You were obviously the team member with some sensitivity that balanced out the raucus raunch we're listening to these days. I find I'm just not enjoying them as much anymore. Can't wait until I have a Thursday when I can listen to your new program on W-UWM! Wishing the best of everything to you.

I met you acouple of times(at the hardees in mequon, shot hoops with you at a mall)and listened to you for 5 years while I lived in Wisconsin.I'll never forget you and Gene. One question...Whatever happened to the picture of the two of you with (I think) Don Rickles? You sent it into one of the scandal mags to prove they would print anything and not check on it.

Congratulations on your Retirement. I met you at WZMF where I worked in the office and was just a kid (18) out of high school. It's been a long time since the binder with typed commercials that I had to come in the studio and change every day. I've really enjoyed listening to you for the last 30 years ... You are the best and deserve the best in retirement. ENJOY!

Congratulations! Now you will have a chance to read all those thrillers you have been putting aside. I managed the Waldenbooks at Northridge for many years, and you were always such a gentleman when you would stop in. And that meant something. I feel like I have grown up right along with you, and looking at the pictures brings back so many memories! Have fun with your family and best of luck for the future. Rock on!

I have listened to you what seems like forever, when WKTI first started, you have seen me to school, work, and what I remember the most of listening to you and Gene in the morning while on bed rest at St.Joes, Yes where Nancy works, and I remember her telling me she liked you, and at that time somewhat dated you, My twins are 5 now, time flies! Will miss hearing you in the morning, Have a great time

Retiman,
"Don't think twice, it's all right". From UWM to UWM and all the stops along the way, I've loved listening to you. I'll always remember the 11th House, and the day that John Lennon died and my husband and I came down to Radio Doctor's where you were broadcasting because it seemed like the best thing we could do.
Take care and stay "forever young",
Jeanette

Hi Bob,
Good Luck on your retirement and thanks for being in the shower with me every morning for 20 years. I'm going to miss your sense of humor, I remember when I won $100 and I talked to you on the phone from work. You teased me about my last name you said " do you realize if you were in the Army you would be Captain April Captain" Yes, that was funny then and my boss just said that to me the other day and it was just as funny.. again... Thanks and I wish you happy days in what ever you do... April

Your friendly and familiar voice has awakened me each day since I was 13. I'm now 38. How is it that someone I never knew personally became such an integral part of my life? Well, you became that for me and at times, I felt as if I'd actually met you and gotten to know you on some level. When I was out of town, it depressed me that I couldn't hear you in the morning; couldn't get my "Reitman Wake-Up Call". When you were on vacation, I sincerely missed your voice and all you had to say and I always anxiously awaited your return. When you announced your retirement, I'll admit that I personally dreaded it. You've been a part of my life for so long that I knew I'd feel empty somehow when the fact that I would no longer hear your voice sunk in. In the last few weeks as your retirement drew closer, I choked up several times as I remembered the past 25 years of waking up to you. When Amy Taylor broke down on the air near 9am this morning, I too fell apart completely. I've never met you nor have I emailed y

I have listened to you for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. You have been my alarm clock every morning during the week and have had a lot of laughs that have carried over during the day and during the years. I wish you the best of everything in your future years! Love you.

Congratulations on a well-deserved retirement. I just want you to know that you and Gene drew me into your dedicated listener club over 20 years ago. Your antics and laughter put a smile on my face every morning! I always appreciated your borderline "rebel" ways, yet you were always a "stand-up classy guy". You will be sadly missed, but it must be an awesome feeling to know how many lives you have touched. Enjoy, my friend!!! Live every day to the fullest!

I have listened to you for 20 plus years. Some morning on my way to work laughing in the car by myself, wondering if anyone saw me. You would by the topic of discussion on our breaks because of the things you did. I have enjoyed all of it. I was at the Riverside last night and really enjoyed the entire evening. What a great night. Thank you and best wishes for a great retirement.

I remember the first time I met you. Pumped your gas some 25 years ago. Only one guy in town with a black Z28 with plates that said IMADJ. Thanks Bob for the endless supply of WKTI bumper stickers (i still have some left!) and the T-shirt....

Bob, I have been listening to you since I can remember. I have grown up listening to you and enjoyed spending my evening wishing you farewell yesterday. You will be missed on the radio every morning. Farewell and may you enjoy the time with your family and friends. You have touched all of our lives forever. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It should be apparent by now that you have far more than the 7.

Bob, it was a mere 21 years ago that you, Jess and I were swimming at the old Mequon Pool! And it was about the same time that you saluted me on my Eagle award! So as this your special day, I salute you for all that you gave Milwaukee! God Bless you and thank you.

What a treat to be in attendance at your special gala last evening - and even moreso, to be part of your "seven" listeners for such a long, long time. We tend to take the good things in life for granted, so I thank you for all you have been, all you have done, the smiles and the tears, and this wonderful opportunity to reflect upon it all. You're a special man - God bless you always!

Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free,
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands,
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves,
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.

...In the jingle jangle morning I'll come followin' you

Though you never did reach the success in radio that you reached on the basketball court at WFB, you still did fairly well...Your retirement makes a lot of us feel older since, with you still on the air, there was always someone older than us, still working...Tony Gazzana says congratulations as do I and all of your many friends and fans....We hope you remain on the air in some capacity..Thank you for all you have given to us...Dennis Mandel

Bob- I have been listening to you since I was in 7th grade in the early 80's. I even remember "push 'em down the stairs!" Thanks for entertaining me and so many others for all of these years. Best wishes for a relaxing retirement.

You have been a wonderful way of life, which will surely be missed. About 5 yrs. ago, I sent you an e-mail on a co-worker who has a fart machine, and asked you to give him a wake up call. You did, and it was priceless, it's one call he will never forget. I've listened to your shows since QFM, and have had the please of meeting you at the Eagles Club, for the Legends reunion show. Sammy is a friend of mine. I want to wish you the best for the future, you have given so much to so many people, I only wish we could do the same for you.
